Compiling this list was a very time-consuming process... I feel that one's taste in music, above all other forms of art, provides insights to the soul. This list is meant to provide some of those insights to you, gentle reader, where a list of my favourite books, film or other forms of art will not.
Music is special to people for many reasons... not the least of which is creating a bond to a special memory, time or place. I've restricted this list to songs which create a pure emotional response, and avoid those that have special meaning simply because they invoke fond memories.
