Obtaining an IT position in an organization where I can use my experience and skills to provide a reliable and secure first-class network infrastructure.

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

I have pursued a career that has always been focused on the technical aspects of computing. In my recent positions I have been responsible for security, network infrastructure development and support. I have extensive knowledge of PC software, most especially Novell NetWare, and have been pivotal in the design and development of company-wide networking systems that have delivered a low Total Cost of Ownership. In my own time, I have become a Novell Support Connection SysOp – this is an official Novell position for volunteers who help others with their NetWare problems online, and is by invitation only. I am one of only approximately 35 world-wide. This position allows me to keep on the leading edge of networking techlogogies and enhances my skills with training and other learning opportunities such as the annual Novell BrainShare conference. My knowledge and experience allow me to make a successful and informed contribution to the company’s IT infrastructure team, and the international set of contacts in the Novell arena that I have maintained ensures that my knowledge is constantly updated, tested and extended. I am confident that I can make a valuable contribution.
