BEDTIME STORIES brought about a softer side to Madonna, following the severe backlash she received because of her EROTICA album, the book "SEX" and the movie "Body of Evidence." It was time for Madonna to tone it down just a bit and she did. Bedtime Stories featured some of her best material, Such as "Human Nature" I love this song and the video is hysterical. "Bedtime Story" co written by Bjork had Madonna in a musical genre previously unexplored by Madonna, and again the video was visually breathtaking. Neither song did well on the pop charts but were hits on the Dance charts, "Secret" was one of the best Madonna singles released ever, while "Take A Bow" was her longest running # 1 Hit. Other standout tracks include "I'd Rather Be Your Lover" featuring Me'Shell Ndege'Ocello and "Love Tried To Welcome Me." Great Album.
