This is the beginning in more ways than one.  These are the first two dresses that I ever bought.  (KMart specials; and boy was I nervous and embarassed.)  They still to this day hold a lot of sentimental attachment.

Of course, maybe I wouldn't have had to be nervous while shopping for these dresses if I'd been wearing one!
