#GAYPINOY started with twelve (12) chatters who gave their support and on August 14, 1997 the channel was officially registered on the Undernet Server, from then on the number of chatters have continuously grown and still growing in numbers. EBs (eyeball) both mini and grand are taking place in prime spots in and out of Metro Manila. (mind you.. all are free)

Aside from these successful and well-attended GEBs, #gaypinoy has also been active in participating with the nation's yearly Gay Pride held in Malate. It has won awards and praises for its artistic float design and theme such as "The Queen Amidalas" of 1999.

GP as mostly called by, has its yearly Ms. Gaypinoy pageants which are well participated by the most gorgeous & beautiful people on the chatroom.
