Welcome
This ring, started in August 1997, is made up of web sites promoting a positive image of the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered community of Texas. The purpose of the ring is to link our pages and make it easy to travel through cyber-Texas. If you are interested in joining or would like to jump to a random site in the ring, please select the "Join the Ring" button on the bottom of this page. The inspiration for this Ring comes from the WebRing by Sage.

There are certain restrictions for the pages in the ring:
 | The page must contain some material of relevance to the gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgendered community of Texas. |
| Pages promoting hatred or uneasiness against gays, lesbians, bisexuals, or transgendered people are not welcome. If you encounter such a page, do not hesitate to report it to the Ringmaster immediately. |
| Adult sites or sites with adult content are prohibited from membership in the Texas Pride Ring. |
| The purpose of the ring is to help people move from one home page to another - not to keep people unwillingly at your place. Therefore you must put the logo and code on the page listed in the database. If you do not do so, then you need permission from the Ringmaster. You are not allowed to put it in the bottom of a huge page that takes forever to load. |
| Not everybody has as fast a connection, so avoiding huge tables and putting in the dimensions of graphics is a very good idea. And because some people do not view graphics when they surf, accomodating for that is good practice too. |
