We stopped in The US Virgin Islands so that I could attend a "normal" high school (as if there is such a thing ha ha). So, I went to Antilles High School for 3 years, and then returned to Texas to live with my Grandparents, and finish my senior Year of high school. Soon after that I moved to Austin Texas to attend college. Austin is a spectacular town!! Definitely lot's of fun to be had there!! It is also where I met Michael, the man of my dreams. I had decided to become a Dental Assistant, and while I was undergoing the training, I was diagnosed with Cancer.
A year or so after my recovery I went down to the Virgin Islands for a short visit. When I returned, and Michael saw all the beautiful pictures, heard the stories of the warm Caribbean beaches.............. We decided Texas life had become positively "NORMAL" something we like to avoid at all costs!! Ha ha So, we got rid of most of our apartment life belongings, a definite downsize, and moved down to the Virgin Islands. We have been on St. Thomas for about 4, hmmm maybe 5 years now, it all blurs together down here *lol*. We both work for The Old Stone Farmhouse, a fantastic fine dining restaurant. I bartend, and Michael is a chef in the kitchen. We absolutely love it here! The climate, the scenery, and the slow paced way of life...... perfect. We plan on being here for at least 2 to 3 more years.
