While in Calgary, I had the good fortune to attend an Illusion
social one night, where I was able to meet the newly-elected Illusion
Royalty, and some of the newer society members. And of course
this also meant a chance to renew my friendship with older
members like Gina (left) and Teresa (right), two of my
best friends. After the Illusion social, we headed off for the Grand
Tour, including stops at the Midnight Cafe, the premier local watering hole for transfolks, and then
to Boystown, a trans-friendly gay club in downtown Calgary.
