Mel C changes look with new blonde tresses

Sporty Spice Mel C made more than a fair impression on fans yesterday - by sporting blonde hair.
Her golden locks wowed the Hollywood crowd at the premiere of new Austin Powers spy spoof, The Spy Who Shagged Me.
Mel C - normally raven-haired - also swapped her trademark tracksuit for a neat cropped top and short black skirt. But the 25 year old insisted her tresses were natural. She said " My hair looks different because it's getting blonder with all the sunshine. I've been getting a good sun tan in between recording my album over here."
Sporty teamed up with fellow Spice Girl Mel B at the bash. She is also working on solo material in the U.S. and sings on the Austin Powers soundtrack
Mel C said " I loved the movie too - but I really came here to see Mel. It has been great to catch up with her and all her gossip. We haven't seen each other for ages so we had lots to talk about"

LIGHTEN UP MELANIE!!! Melanie Chisholm insists that her hair has changed due to effects of the sun!! In the word so frequently used by the goddess herself, I say "RUBBISH!"

What does everyone think about this latest change???
Personally, I think she looks stunning, a change is good, although I think I slightly perfer the black look. I think I'd like it better if she didn't resemble the Appletons (All Saint sisters) quite so much, mind you, there's something kinda Madonna about her look, which I totally approve of. I wonder was she doing this eliberately????

Also, "oh, what i really came here for was to see Melanie" ???? I bet she was secretly hoping she would bump into Madonna there too!!!
