1999 at the Loxahatchee Preserve Nature Center in West Palm Beach, Florida. Kate was the attendant and Shawn, Junior was the ring bearer. The Holy Union was witnessed by Jim's mother; his brother, David; David's wife, Denise; Kate and Shawn Junior's mother and her husband. |  |

The ceremony was officiated by Reverend James M. Martin, of the Metropolitan Community Church of the Palm Beaches. The Nature Center sits atop twenty square miles of Florida wilderness--remnant Everglades. Eleven distinct habitats within the Preserve provide a refuge for the Florida Panther, the bald eagle, and the snail kite. | |
