About us
The Pegasus Motorcycle Owners Club is a San Francisco-based group of Gay Male Bikers.   The primary interest  is motorcycle touring.  The club hosts one motorcycle ride per month plus additional longer rides each year.  Some monthly rides are day runs to close-by destinations while others are overnight runs to locations throughout Northern California and Nevada.  Pegasus also conducts a longer tour of approximately a week each summer with destinations that have included Vancouver, San Diego/Palm Springs, and Zion National park.  The Iceman run in January each year is a "weather-be-damned" affair to the Russian River.  And each Memorial Day Weekend, Pegasus goes on a 3-day ride.  Rides are open to anyone but members pay a discounted amount, or receive a refund amount.  All parties are welcomed!

Pegasus is an independent club not affiliated with any other motorcycle/leather associations.  The club does not conduct fundraising or charity events, such as beer busts or auctions.  The purpose of the Pegasus Motorcycle Owners Club is to provide a group setting for touring and other motorcycle related events.   Although Pegasus is not a leather association, its members tend to wear leather as part of the motorcycle experience.  Many of the members are independently involved in other gay community activities such as leather, boots, and fetish clubs.  Pegasus is not a sex or dating club.  However, some members have found connections during our events.

Club History
The Pegasus Motorcycle Owners Club was founded in 1989.  It's original intent is the same as today, to provide motorcycle related fun to the gay male community without social or fraternal rules.  It has conducted dozens of motorcycle tours and has an excellent reputation with local riders for fun and safe rides.

Club Membership
Membership is open to everyone and does not require a sponsor or probationary period.  The only requirements for membership into the Pegasus club is motorcycle ownership (or intent to own within a short period), a valid motorcycle-operator's license, and current paid dues.  Dues are $65 per year. The dues are usually cost effective due to discounts and refunds from the rides.
