Ive been a fan of golden age characters for some time now. I mostly heard about the ones coming out of DC and Marvel. When I bought Mike Bentons book The Illustrated History Superhero Comics of the Golden Age a whole new world was opened up to me. Here I found characters I never knew existed before. Of course my eye quickly went to the so-called Nedor Heroes. I became a true fan of the Nedor Heroes when Alan Moore and Peter Hogan introduced Terra Obscura. In my attempt to learn more about the Better/Standard/Pines line of super-heroes I discovered no one site showcased these heroes. This is my attempt to do just that. I hope this site will be useful to fans, new and old. Many thanks go to those sites Ive listed under my Links section. Theyve helped to familiarize me with these beloved characters. Under this section in the future I hope to provide updates to any changes Ive made to this site. Also, if anything news worthy about our favorite Nedor Heroes come up itll be posted here. If you have any comments or news please fill free to email me at [email protected] Thank you and enjoy. |
