As a start, I will show you some pictures that refer to my nearly 5-year life-experience in Tokyo (from 1993 to 1997), the friends I sadly left overthere, the school where I worked, etc. (From the resume, in the bedroom, you may get an hint about where I live and what I am doing now.)
The picture below was taken in June 1997, in the crowded Shibuya's square, in Tokyo. At that time, I was about to leave Japan for good, after nearly five years. And one of the things I did more often in that period, was taking as many pictures as possible, so that I would be able to look at them, and "re-enjoy" the unforgettable time I spent there, especially thanks to my most loved friends.
And below you can see myself, Monica, and Gino in a restaurant in Roppongi. Monica is a sweetheart I know since high school in Rome. She now lives in Tokyo, and so does Gino, who is also a unique friend of mine. With Monica and Gino I spent the craziest and funniest nights of my life, as well as quiet and nurturing conversation time... and much more. It was a pain parting from them.
And below is a picture taken in my very very small apartment in Tokyo, with another just too important presence in my life: Vitto. Vitto is simply a wonderful man as I will tell you about later.
And for now, the last picture of this page. This is one of the several classes of Japanese students to whom I taught Italian. Why this picture rather than any of the many others I have? Because this was my very first class, and most of the students were so affectionated that they attended this class during the whole period of my teaching career in Tokyo
I know, you are very bored. What I did is simply showing you some pictures. But I promise that soon I will insert some interesting stories about Tokyo, my friends, and my students. So, don't forget to add a bookmark and to visit again, say, in a couple of weeks?!!
