HOW DOES SUPERMAN GET THE POWER TO FLY?
by Diane Liegh

Birds get the power to fly by running or leaping forward until their forward speed plus the flapping of their wings plus the flow of air over their airfoils (wings) create the lift required to fly.

External combustion engines, such as steam locomotives and paddle wheel boats use the heat of combustion to make steam which powers pistons which turn gears which turn their wheels.

Internal combustion engines create a controlled explosion (burning) within a cylinder which moves a piston which is connected to a drive shaft which turns the wheels.

Turboprops utilize the hot gases from a continuous fire to turn a turbine which is connected to a propeller which produces the forward speed to create the airflow over the airfoil (wings) to produce the lift which allows flight.

Turbojets utilize the expansion of hot gases from a continuous fire to turn a turbine which is connected to a compressor in front of the engine to force more air through the engine so that the thrust gets greater as the exhaust gets greater therefore providing the forward movement to create air flow over the airfoil (wings) to produce lift which allows flight.

Superman comes from the Planet Krypton which indues him with SUPER powers. But how does he fly? There are no moving parts. Is one small leap into the air sufficient to power a supersonic flight around the world? How does he change his speed while airborne? The answers to these questions are far beyond me.

JUST WHAT DOES ALL OF THIS HAVE TO DO WITH CROSSDRESSERS?

What powers (or drives) us to desire to wear "women's" clothing?

There are studies going on that are examining the brain at atomic levels. Some scientists think they have found a part of the brain that may influence a person to become homosexual. Maybe there is also a part of the brain that influences us to become crossdressers.

Other scientists claim that transgenderism is a result of choice, upbringing, or both.

Just like the birds, external combustion engines, internal combustion engines, turboprops and turbojets; we all are driven by different methods and at different rates. Sometimes we get annoyed by someone who is being driven by a different force and at a different speed. If, or when, this occurs, stop and remember that all of the different drives are DIFFERENT. They are not BETTER or WORSE, they are just DIFFERENT. There is a reason or purpose for each of them. A turbojet would be completely incompatible as the power source for a local commuter train.

What goals different transgendered people are headed for I don't know. I leave that to the Higher Power that created them. If I don't know what their goal is, How can I evaluate their route toward that goal? Comparing them and their travel toward their goal with me and my travel to my goal is the height of hypocrisy.

WHAT DOES SUPERMAN HAVE TO DO WITH US?

We don't understand him but we accept him. Can't you grant your sisters the same understanding that you grant superman (who is just a figment of someone's imagination)?
