Sometimes you can see the other side of the bay.
A bit of socialising never did anybody any harm(ony?). I've always enjoyed the Harmony Week-End, organised in Scarborough - (the Yorkshire one) - by Martine Rose. Nice company, nice food, and nice drink! - weather could be a bit better but it is held in late October/early November in England.
