I'm proud to introduce to you Sigung Liberty Wintersteen. Sigung Liberty has been a private student of mine for quite some time now and has shown complete loyalty to PFA and the future propagation of PFA. Sigung Liberty is a Sifu in PFA, a Certified Muay Thai Instructor, and a Certified Instructor of Progressive Eskrima. As well as ongoing private training which will continue until I step down as Sijo of the system. As some of you may know some styles have many Sigungs, but in PFA there is but one. The reason for this is that the Sigung of PFA is the inheritor of the whole system, she can appoint the next Sigung when she steps down and so on.
I would also like to thank both Sifu Sean and Sifu Mike for their diligent work as Sigung before they decided to step down. Thank you both. I know some of you have been with me for well over a decade and I'm not slighting you by not choosing you, as you know I carry 40 years of training and the Sigung has to be someone who is close enough to receive the private instruction needed to carry on in my absence. So on November 26th 2008, a new path will begin, and I am highly confident in Sigung Liberty's ability to carry PFA on to the next generation... I will leave you with my favorite prayer.
