Official Soundtrack
The one interesting fact about this CD is that it is the first
Sonic soundtrack to be released in the United States. So this CD is
a landmark in Sonic History for us in the U.S., that is. The CD is
produced by TOKYOPOP, a company that
releases soundtracks to video games (not to mention manga and anime).
If you own the
imported version of the Sonic Adventure 2 soundtracks, then there is nothing
special about this CD. The U.S. CD only has 26 tracks. Compare
that to the 68 tracks for the game music and
the 8 tracks for vocal album that were released
in Japan! When you consider that “Live and Learn” and “Escape from
the City” are on these CDs twice, it appears that 40 songs were not released
on the U.S. CD. Click
