Give credit where credit is due, right? Just in case anybody was wondering where these things come from, here is a specific list. This list is subject to revision every time I make a new change! (But I usually don't update it every time I update the other pages.) (07/02/04) General Notes: ~ All web designs are done by Silver Starr (silverstarr3224@hotmail.com). ~ Sonic the Hedgehog is copyrighted by Sega, Sonic Team, Archie Comics, and DiC. ~ This page used to be called Emerald Isle. I wanted it to be clearly associated with Sonic, so I changed the name to Sonic the Hedgehog's Hideaway (Sonic's Hideaway for short.) Main Page: ~ The main image is currently from Sonic 3 for the Genesis. Intro to site: ~ The scans are from the Prima strategy guide for Sonic Adventure and Sonic Adventure 2. Cartoon Info: ~ The cartoon info page was introduced sometime back in September '03, if I remember correctly. Right now I've just got info on Sonic X . . . which I really need to get caught up on. Character Profiles: ~ This section was added on 6/21/03. Most of the scans of the video game characters come from the Prima strategy guide for Sonic Adventure and Sonic Heroes. The picture of Metal Sonic comes from the Sonic Screen Saver. For Emerl, I used a Game Boy Advance emulator. The pictures of Mighty and Ray the Flying Squirrel comes from the demo version of SegaSonic the Hedgehog on the emulator Modeler. For the Archie comics section, pictures come from various issues of the comics. Most of the information comes from my head and then I go and double check it using strategy guides, instruction books, and comics. Comic Info: ~ (Note: this takes you to a different Geocities site due to space constraints.) This is the section that is purely based off of Archie Comics Sonic the Hedgehog comics. I'm really slow to update this section since it takes me forever to do a comic summary! Game Info: ~ The Games page information comes from my own experiences playing the game. The screenshots for the Genesis are taken from the emulator Gencyst or Gens, while the Game Gear games are taken by Meka. BTW, if anybody knows a good description on how to get screenshots from a video tape to a computer, I can post up some screenshots from the newer games. PLEASE let me know! ~ The scans for SegaSonic the Hedgehog were taken from a magazine that I ripped a page from back in 1993. Music: ~ The picture of Sonic with the turn tables is from the Prima strategy guide. ~ Soundtrack information and pictures come from my CDs that I have collected over the past few years. ~ The lyrics are mainly from what I hear. For Sonic Adventure 2, the foundation of some lyrics are based off of the lyrics that came with the CD. And for Sonic Underground I had some help from my friends KnuxFan02 and Rei the Squirrel. Sonic Dictionary: ~ All done by Silver Starr. Yikes, this thing takes me forever to update! A good portion of the definitions comes from my memory. The other portion comes from instruction booklets, comics, and video games. Sonic Investigation: ~ For the most part, these are observations combined with research. The picture on the main page is from issue #52 of the Sonic the Hedgehog series. On case #3, the pictures of the Chaos Emeralds comes from the emulator Gens. For Case #4, the pictures come from the cover of Knuckles' Chaotix and the Prima strategy guide for Sonic Heroes. FanFare Page: ~ There are many sections to this page, including: ~ Sonic Memories (memories by Sonic fans) ~ Lists (right now only by me) ~ Games (by me) ~ Fan Fiction (by me and my friend Double Wag) Hoaxes Page: ~ Thumbnails are the hoaxes done by that individual (currently it's just me). Silver Starr's Hoaxes: ~ Main screenshots are from a combination or just one of these games: Sonic the Hedgehog, Sonic the Hedgehog 2, Sonic R, and the Sonic and Knuckles Collection (Sonic the Hedgehog 3 and Sonic and Knuckles) by Sega. Other games include Shining Force II, Phantasy Star IV, and Zero Wing by Sega. And of course, some editing has been done to individual pictures or pixles of pictures. Sprite Comics: ~ These are screenshots that have words added to them. In other words, they're like hoaxes but they're in a comic format. I used Gens for the pics of Sonic 2 and 3, and I used a Game Boy Advance emulator for the Sardines comic. About Webmaster: ~ This is about me, by me. (wow, that sounds lame) A friend of mine drew the picture. E-mail Webmaster: ~ silverstarr3224@hotmail.com I've only gotten ONE e-mail about my webpage! Links: ~ This is how you can link to my page. I created the banner using sprites from Sonic 2 and Sonic 3. I'm proud of it. :) Oh yeah, and you can also check out some other websites. In the future I'll have more links. But for right now, it's small. Previous Quotes: ~ At the request of KnuxFan02, I created a previous quotes page off of the quotes I've selected for the "Quote of the Moment" (now called "Quote of the Week"). These are taken from various parts of the Sonic universe, which mainly consists of comics and TV shows. News and Updates Page: ~ Straight from my brain to the computer, the update section is all from me. (Unless of course it's not for me, but I'd tell you that.) www.geocities.com/silverstarr3224/
