WATER PROBLEM IN SOUTH

One among the Panchaboothas, water is an essential source for life  on Earth. But the availability is not uniform on all plces on this earth. In India, it overflows and is wasted in one part and is scarce on the other side. Even within the Southern territory also it is not as uniform as it is on the other places. In the year 1990, Tamilnadu experienced severe water scarcity aand this made the producer to present the facts and figures about water. Things have not changed still. The Cauvery water dispute between Tamilnadu and Karnataka and the Almatti Dam dispute between Andhra Pradesh and Maharashtra speaks volumes that water is not only a source to human life but it is also a cause for dispute among the mankind.

Blood is thicker than water. True, but if the water fails to flow then the blood flows.

Produced in the year 1990 for the DOORDARSHAN's NATIONAL NETWORK Channel, this documentary presented the status quo of the four Southern Regional territories of India.
