| Maximus Areus Arelios is one of the youngest priests ever to grace Rome. He is XXI (21) years old.And he is very wealthy. His status in Rome is high, and his trust is fortified with fear. He moved to Rome when he was XII (12) years old, his village was attacked by an un-named tribe north of Rome. Him and his mother escaped to Herculaneum where they would be safe, but Maximus father, and his brother did not manage to escape with them. When Maximus was XIV (14) he began his priestly training, his mother soon after died of a disease.Maximus then went to Rome at the age of XV (15) Never knowing what would happen. He then gave up his priestly hood and joined the army. Since his experience with healing and priestly powers he had seemed to "pop" right up to joining the Praetorians, when he had met Caesar. Caesar saw Maximus as a priest and sent him to Sibyl, and not just any, one of the most glorious of all. They told be to address her as Satsobek. Sibyl helped Maximus to become a priest again and changed him. She also gave him a wedding to perform at, a young woman named Anna's wedding. (Next Continued in Journal) |
