From
the original Universal Studios blueprints, this is an overview of the bridge set as
designed by John Chilberg, which, unlike the glimpses we get in the series, gives a good
idea of its size and overall shape.
1. The rotating command platform.
2. The flight console.
3. Called the “support console” on the plans, Athena’s usual station.
4. The lower line of consoles.
5. The window.
6. The transparent map.
7. The communications area.
8. These little alcoves were designed to give the impression of corridors leading off the bridge.
