This upper part of what was probably a striding statue of Ammenemes III is unique in showing the Pharaoh in a sacerdotal attire...From the neck of the king depends a menyet amulet [see Fig. 1 ], the many threads of its small beads hanging from two strings of large beads which end in two counterpoises, the tips of which are visible from the back. 1
