| Tarot Cards - The Tarot Cards were introduced by the romany gypsies many years ago. They are a 78 card deck. They have 4 suits numbered from Ace to Ten. Instead of Heart, clubs, diamonds and spades, we have Cups, Swords, Pentacles and Wands. Unlike ordinary cards, there is 4 courtcards - King, Queen, Knight and Page. making 56 in the major arcana. In The minor arcana there are 22 'extra' cards, these having there own meaning(eg. the Death card = New beginings or change), except the Fool, a symbolic image and a title. |
