Summer Faith Course 2003
Tentative Grading Plan

250+ point grading scale
About 40 points per segment of the course
plus 50 point final exam

10 points assignments and/or quizzes
20 points weekly test
10 point journal

Homework: reading, some quizzes, some assignments will be graded and recored but not be part of the numerical grade. These evauluations will be used to gauge effort, cooperation, and help the student to know if he is doing and understanding the content on a short term basis.
A Final Exam worth +50.

Remember that you can earn up to +15 in, doing one ten pointer and one five pointer.

Reason
- Allegory assignment (+10). Students had chances to redo this.
- Journal (+10)
- Friday Test (+20/22)
- Extra credit Twleve Angry Men Assignment (+5)
The Human Condition
- 10 points assignments and/or quizzes (+10)
- Journal (+10)
- Thursday Test (+20)
What is Faith?
- 10 points assignments and/or quizzes (+10)
- Journal (+10)
- Friday Test (+20)
Challenges to Faith
- 10 points assignments and/or quizzes (+10)
- Journal (+10)
- Friday Test (+20)
Religious Faith
- +10 assignments and quizzes
- Person of Faith web site assignment, due by June 21 (+10)
- "Who do you say that I am?" essay (+20)
50 point Exam June 25 covering all the course.
