Welcome to my step by step page
I hope you find it helpful

After applying the base of your choice,
Draw the outline of the butterfly
Fill in the butterfly with your
fav colours
Add some detail and glitter to finish
Try combining two designs for a fresh look
I really found doing butterflies difficult when I first started face painting.
I used to hate children asking me to paint a butterfly, because I couldn't get it even.  One side would be good and the other well let's just say the more I tried to make it better the worse it looked..
Now I love doing butterflies.
A tip to help make a butterfly or this bee even on both side.
Start with your most difficult side
Then match the other side to that.
I works believe me.
Using a No. 6 round brush and water based face paint.
Only use approved paint for Face Painting. I use Snazaroo, Grimas and Kryolan.
Draw a cloud shape line keeping the paint wet. Then with a dry sponge drag the wet paint down.
Using the right brushes help get the effect you want.
I use good quality art brushes which I buy from my local craft shop.
Except the L4 Brush which is my favourite brush I buy this from Grimas
(I do most things with this brush)
