Jaro is a unique and fun place to be. It has all the Sights, sounds, people and history that would amaze any passerby or visitor. Its name's origine is also certainly a curiose matter. Data I've gathered says that Spanish authorities misread it from a manuscript sent by another spaniard from jaro. Another is the wrong pronouciation of the Chinese people.
Another ineteresting topic is the Fieasta or Feast of Nuestra Sra. de la Candelaria. A dazzling array of rides, games, lights, candles, agriculture, industry, food, and a lot more.
The Greatness of Jaro
(brief History)
Jaro formerly known as "Salog is bounded on the north by Pavia and Mandurriao; on the east by Leganes, on the south by Lapaz and on the West by Molo. The Salog and Dungon rivers course throught its plains.
The district of Jaro has a unique profile. They say that the name Jaro came from the term "Sarok". A kind of water container made from coconut husks and used to get water from vases.
Jaro has a wide scope and is made up of 42 baranggays. Of course, each baranggay is governed by a barangay captain.

It is cress-crossed by a couple of rivers, travel is mostly by land. Bridges span the
gaps of these rivers, and long stretches of highway covers the vast plains.
