LESSON 10: PHOTOGRAPHYQUICK AND EASY RETRO PHOTO EFFECT 1. open the photo you�re going to use on photoshop: 2. create a new layer, press Shift+Ctrl+N 3. select the rectangular marquee tool then make a selection on half of your photo. use the rulers to find the center of your photo 4. Select the red color on your swatches palette and press ALT+Backspace to fill the selection with color red. 5. Open the Select menu and select Inverse or press Shift + CTRL + I . this will inverse your selection to the other half of your canvas. 6. Again Select the green color on your swatches palette and press ALT+Backspace to fill the selection with color green. then press ctrl + D to deselect. 7. In the Layers pallet, click on the eye icon for Layer 1 to hide the layer. Click on the Background layer to select it. 8. Open the Image> Adjustments menu and select Match Color. then select the document name of your photo in the source and then select Layer 1 as the layer. then copy this settings: 9. that�s it! _________________________________________________________________________________ |
