Aedes Aegypt Mosquito


Aedes Aegypti, known as yellow fever mosquito, is able to spread dengue fever, yellow fever and other diseases. The mosquito can be identified by the white markings on its legs. It can be found in hot and stuffy regions in the world. Only the female mosquitoes bites instead of the males.

Aedes Albopictus Mosquito


Aedes Albopictus, also known as (Asian) tiger mosquito, can be found in tropical and subtropical areas of Southeast Asia. The mosquito have black and white striped legs and body. It also transmit yellow fever and dengue fever.

Four Strains of the Virus


Dengue can be caused by four related viruses DENV 1-4. It is transmitted by the female mosquito of genus Aedes. They each have different interactions with the antibodies in human blood serum. All the viruses caused similar disease.
