The first two are the Mandarin pronounciations of my
surname in Pinyin and Wades-Giles romanizations, and the third is the Cantonese
pronounciation. The last three are the various Hakka pronounced romanizations
which are found throughout Malaysia and Singapore. I have a copy of my family genealogy (English
version) which goes back 115 generations, which I would be keen to share and
discuss with anyone interested, especially those who also have other copies of
the clan genealogy. For those able to read classical Chinese, there is a GIF
file of the first page
preface as well as the first generations. If you have a Chinese (Big5)
browser, you can read the entire genealogy (Chinese
version) from 1300 BC to the present day.
Who am I?
My name is Francis THIEN Chung Kong and I am a Malaysian
Chinese Hakka.
