Akira Morishita (1st grade high school)
had a divorce parents.
Then she met a cold guy who reminded her very  much of her father, a jazz musician, who had made her mother suffer.

That guy, Koh Hyuga,
dreamt to be a famous musician / singer.

Ako Ikegami, one of Akira's best friend, loved Koh. She was the one who made Yuka Nishino and Akira finally saw Koh's live performance. She almost always talked about Koh and made Hajima Yosuke, their class-mate, a guy who liked to tease the three girls, jealous.

Akira hated everything related to music! 
Akira hated everyone who had a dream,
since usually they were selfish!

 
But what should she say, when she was involved with Koh because of a little dog. Its former master left it on the street.
Akira couldn't bring it home. She only gave some food. Koh took it to his apartment and 
finally they took care of it together.

Koh worked in a bookshop and it was almost time to close the shop when Akira came to buy a book. Koh searched for it in the warehouse, but  the shop's owner thought, everybody had gone home. They were trapped... only the two of them... with Akira who was in the edge of 
her nervous... without any light.... -_-

 
Akira who began to love Koh, tried to understand his dream.... 
Could her mother accept a musician to be 
her daughter's boyfriend?
What would Ako say when she finally
found out, that her own best friend
secretly knew where was Koh's apartment?
Then why she supported her instead?

Later... even when Koh began to get success,
he still remember and came on Akira's birthday.
But his manager didn't like their relationship. 
He thought it could damage his early career.

But then, what would Akira do, when oneday she found out,
that Koh's mother, was her father's new wife?
Her father had left them for music. He failed but never came home.
Finally Akira's mother came to visit him at his village, but then
he already had a new family... he already had a wife....

Koh's manager changed from Mr. Maeda to Mr. Honma....
Mr. Honma was a very important person in Wave Record... and he menaced Akira...
if she wouldn't leave Koh... he would shatter Koh's dream in music....
Which would Koh choose... Akira or his music...?
But then, what would Akira do before he chose?
Would she also forgive her father?
Her mother remarried and Akira wanted her to be happy.
In the middle of misunderstanding between Koh and her, she agreed to move to other city.

"just for you... never forget me forever...
shining just for you... will shine just for you..."

Koh refused to record the song he made just for Akira.
But how to be back after they were separated so far?


This story let us think deeper about Akira's feeling... 
a girl who became stubborn in her struggle to be tough....
I like the style Hiromi Mashiba used to tell the story....
makes me anxious to know more... and touching....
