Ok, here goes...
My name is Wade B. Clark Jr. I'm 48 years old, happily married to a good lady whom I love dearly, and live in northwest Washington State, USA (the cloud and rain capital of the lower 48 states it seems at times!). I was born and raised in Walla Walla, Washington, and have had a love of the night sky ever since I was a small child. Some people might call me a little crazy, but I spend most clear nights either waiting for, or chasing the aurora (northern lights) around the countryside.
Most times it's a 'wild goose chase'...but sometimes...just sometimes...
When I am out observing and photographing the night sky, I enjoy listening to music that enhances the experience (Roger Hodgson, Alan Parsons,Tangerine Dream, Loreena McKennit, Aeone, Enya, etc...). The music relaxes me and tends to keep my mind off that snapping twig in the distance...
I also enjoy hiking, music, celtic philosophy, astronomy, camping, playing darts, reading, watching movies (tales of King Arthur especially), and searching for the meaning to life.
Nothing lasts forever....so we need to enjoy what we can when we can. Our time here is all too fleeting...
