| OBEDIENCE CLASSES |
| Obedience classes are offered on Wednesday evenings on Jenkins Street in New Bedford at the Portugese Veterans of Foreign Wars Hall, right next to the Stop and Shop. Beginners classes are at 7:00 pm and are an eight week course. The fee for the eight-week course will be $85.00 starting April 15, 2009 There is an advance class which starts at 8:00, immediately after the Beginners class. This is a drop-in Class and the charge is $7.00 for non-members and $5.00 for members. There will be a $1.00 charge for run-thrus after the advanced class. | BREED/CONFORMATION CLASSES |
| Breed classes (or conformation class) are held on Thursday evenings at the same location as the Obedience classes. The classes begin at 7:30 p.m. and these are drop in classes. | DIRECTIONS |
| On Route 195 (East or West) take Route 140 South. At the end of Route 140 at the traffic lights, cross through Route 6 onto Brownell Avenue. Take Brownell Avenue all the way to the end. At the set of lights at the Synagogue, at the bottom of Buttonwood Park, turn left on Hawthorn Street. Go to the next traffic light, and at the light turn right onto Rockdale Avenue. Follow Rockdale Avenue to the second traffic light. Take a left onto Dartmouth Street, go past the Super Stop and Shop and turn right onto Jenkins Street. Go down Jenkins Street, training hall is on the left at the stop sign. |
