So, as it turns out, words are pretty important. That may seem as obvious as a tautology, but consider this- Without words you couldn't ever share a single thought with another person, let alone have thoughts of any real quality. Now, words aren't just necessary. In unity with thier indispensability they are powerful for either good or bad. They have potential to be used for some of the highest good and some of the basest evils. Sirach says this about words:
"If you blow upon a spark, it quickens into flame,
if you spit on it, it dies out;
yet both you do with your mouth!"
