Electric Guitar Package
People have read my tips for home recording and I often get asked what would be a good electric guitar package for a beginner ?My philosophy is pretty simple.
- Buy a decent guitar. - Nothing is more frustrating than to learn guitar on a piece of crap. When you have a nice instrument that stays in tune and is easy to play you want to practice more. It's that simple.
- Buy a name brand. - In the event you want to sell the guitar the resale value is much higher. Would you rather spend $300 on something you could sell again or $200 for a lawn ornament ?
Technology is a wonderful thing. I have seen some electric guitar and amplifier packages that are a real decent value. I am talking top names like Fender and Ibanez. Keep away from the stuff you see at the Walmart checkout.
