WELCOME TO OUR RECORD STORE!

Here are more cool stuff from Jojo Soria de Veyra's
154-Personal-Favorites-from-the-1990's List!

(in alphabetical order)

Introduction

First of all, this list is a list of Jojo's "personal favorites" that he gathered from the products of the American music industry of the last decade, personal in the sense that how they got to his senses may have been terribly involving. But not entirely. For example, Jojo says Tori Amos as a feminist voice may be personal to him only in terms of making him recall certain moments of either sympathy or guilt. That is, he wouldn't put her up there among his list of songwriters that addressed his own priority worries and wars in the 1990s decade, but were it not for the fact that the women in his life remain a priority.

This list already started at albumreviews2.html where Warphoto reviewed several albums. They continue here.

But, first, this list also begs the question "Why not something on Filipino recordings first of all?" Well, Jojo could have easily done that if CDNow (primary sponsors of our music pages here) had the albums of the Filipino music people he had in mind in their catalogue. Apart from that, it is hard to look for jpg's of these Filipinos' works. And even if someone had delivered those jpg's, they would yet have displayed themselves here sans the links, if only because they'd be distributed by certain online stores that Geocities---the city-state we work our site in---wouldn't want to have anything to do with (when in Rome, follow the law there or something). But maybe you can go back to Album Reviews Intro Page and see if we already made a page for our compatriots. And we think we did.
