A Churchbell Buddhism

 

Karma is the word we like to dangle towards those who offend us,
But yet the very word those who abuse us with their conservative bigotry
Label our "bad fortunes" with to support their theses regarding our anomalous
Liberalism, our reformist bent. Ironic, for we see these our bad turns as blessings.

Paradoxical that we should wear the same scarlet, bad K-letter they---whom we & the
Conservative bigots labeled as chronically criminal---are wearing now, hopefully forever.

Bad karma is what happens to our enemies. Christ’s tests happen on our faithful friends’ families.
Ironic that many a good man get cancer, while many a business thief get to collect luxury cars
or antique churchbells.
