Walk In The Wind

This is the junction where
you shall have to walk alone
wherever it is you want to go,
westerly or otherwise, your choice,
devoid of a cane, carrying with you
only blame from those who wished
you were only as the dust in the wind
whose junctures are blameless, silent
then loud as the mass of it, the whole
that is it and that blows it, the dust is
singular, plural, containing as it contains
the wind, and nobody really blames the
wind’s disastrous journeys, because it
is not it, only a part of what it blows,
a wind of the winded, it spirals with
the dust at junctions, without
choice, without judgments.
