What would you make of it
    when spread are evil rumors
(about you) and your friends
    become suspicious, promptly
as you turn your back and
    walk on about your business,
your cousins and aunts
    and uncles, and brothers
and sisters and, finally, your
    parents! corroborating too
thru conjectures of their own
    over these weird unconven-
tionalities and quiet wisdoms?

    You can only wonder further
about how simple beliefs are
    in a social setting, and how
brains are more societal than
    naturally, socially useful.
