Routines you don’t like
recur as those, Routine.
For the simple reason
that our desires, just
as recurrent, renew

themselves as the seeking

     of prizes.
Thus, price. Thus, work.
Thus: what you want
is what you get, i.e.
you get it. And you

don’t just get it. You
work, and if you can’t
find other jobs, you go
back to routines. But
look at cooking, you

forget that and how
do you cook without
cooking? Best—enjoy
cooking.

                 But, beyond our
routines you’ll see

reason for what our
routines are for.
Then you can begin
to argue whether
the routine you’re do-

ing is likeable or
evil (say, environment-
unfriendly). Then, you
break out and picket.
You tear a ticket

to a promotion, risk

for freedom an indefinite

     vacation.
