The Star System As Art

 

Singers are actors, they act out dumb characters on the
            packaging to market to the major niche;
dumb actors are singers, it’s their voices & phrasings that
            carry poetry & a society into a Face.

This is a sad note for the lost faces & voices of asocial
            songwriters, film writers/makers;
this is a protest poem against clever, faceless businessmen
            who, like me, talk always of life
without being heard, seen, interviewed or booed, who, like
            me, talk always 'bout those in the arts.
