Future Saints

i.

Just as they were about to find work
intended for the new generation,
milking equivalents passed lottery points
to the world, the soul, and the future
        equal of provincial saints.

Such decline is poor parade for the
times, though it wallows in pity
and desires melancholic angsts for
mom and dad's riches; squalor it is

     to a future mine.

ii.

Such urban confusion ruins our econ-

     omics.
Promotes sociology and censors, gives

     chair to hypocrisies.
What happens to us: simple. We'll pump
up religions, slogans, make perfumes,

holding guns, while searching for lost

     heroes. Though
the future saint in you is not sci-fi prod-

     uct but history's,
just as the jobs for our new generation
may be the greed of corporations. Yeah:

they who milk the cow of a different god
whose philosophy in life is a lottery of

     lies.
