Goiter

 

It's the visual imbalance that bothers. The
internal tip to the right is dispensable, but
it dispenses meaty judgment on those that
ignore the esthetic implications. In my case

it wasn't the hatred for iodine. It was my kid-
neys' non-needs that seemed to scream for
less salt to life, in the long run abusing the
fish-silence of the neck, even as I throated
vanities called knowledges for balance. The

distortion was the final grab for attention on
all who took pride in their heads, or in their
muscles, and ignored what joined the brain to
the whole body. The swelling took away a face's
big-headedness to be hid in a nameless collar.
