About Our Club
The West Wollongong Garden Club was established in 1975 to bring together people with a mutual love of gardening and the environment. The Club focus is on the exchange of ideas and the promotion of gardening as a rewarding pastime.
There are a variety of activities organised throughout the year. These include:
- Regular monthly guest speakers from nurseries, government and environmental groups, plant societies and experts in related fields;
- Bus trips organised to local and State places of interest;
- Visits to community gardens and projects;
- Visits to members gardens; and
- Plant stalls, where cuttings and plants are exchanged.
