Beverly was traveling in Portugal when she happened upon a street artist
doing straw art pictures. She was fascinated by the craft as she carefully
watched how it was done. When she returned home she decided that she would
do some on her own. By trial and error she developed her technique until she
could create beautiful straw art pictures.
She has completed over 40 pictures
since she started in late 1999.
