Joining the club
New members are always welcome. The best way to get in contact with the club is to come out and join us on Sundays from 11am. Details of our location can be found in the airfield section. You can take an air experience flight for only $25. Once you join the costs are as follows:
Launching: Winch ($4.50)
Fees: (25/3/01) - Joining: Nil, Annual: $50, Insurance Levy: $100, A/C
hire: 45¢/min, AEF: $25
You will see it costs about $34.50 per hour to learn to fly gliders - probably the cheapest way to learn to fly. And hours gliding can be counted towards other licenses such as ultralights.
