FINAL FANTASY IX SCREENSHOTS
Final Fantasy IX has some of the most detailed and lushest environments yet seen in the series. It has many similarities to Final Fantasy VII but also carries a lot of connections to Final Fantasy's IV, V, and VI. Although all the environments are prerendered, each area is a true work of art crafted by the great Yoshitaka Amano that surpasses a substantial amount of today's 3-D. Even as we approach the replacement of the Playstation 2, the system manages to hold it's own with mindblowing detail and beauty.
