WELCOME HOME
Welcome my friends and seekers of all things wonderful. I am called Video Gamer X, the creator of this monument to Final Fantasy. Come gather around the campfire as I weave a tale from the many realms and lands of the imagination crafted by contemporary sages who wield the gift of making manifest our visions. There have been eight fantasies, none of them truly final, yet each has ended with a conclusion, and each its own separate masterpiece. This site tributes the ninth incarnation of this hallowed series of games. Everything Final Fantasy is and was shall become part of this site. Here we are at the turn of the Millennium and the whole future lay ahead like a great uncharted land. There reside so many wonders that men and women of today can only dream of, and in our crossroads of time, we are also the envy of our ancient predecessors, capable of performing miracles and magic only dreamed by bards and storycrafters of antiquity. We live in a guilded age when our world is united with the voice of every man, woman, and child capable of being heard. If it wasn't for me being born in this time, I would not have had the ability to proclaim my words to the whole planet and bring this website to the masses. How lucky we truly are to live in these times. Video Games like Final Fantasy go beyond just simple games, they are not only challenges to our wits and mental acuity but they feed our desire for adventure in a world and society where there are no more undiscovered frontiers to explore, nor any dragons to slay, or powerful wizards to confront with a shining sword forged of a goddess's tear. We are tantilized by these things, and our thirst for a drink of this sweet wine is insaciable. As long as this desire persists, Squaresoft will continue to tap the inexhaustable resource of Final Fantasy's and make our dreams come true.
If you are here, then it is you who has sought out a manifestation of that which you truly have found a bond with in your heart. This website, is for you, the seeker of Final Fantasy and will forever remain the place where gamers who have enjoyed the Final Fantasy Role Playing games can take refuge. Most importantly, this site will become a haven for information related to Final Fantasy IX, and other upcoming Final Fantasy games. Here you are welcome to send your input to any of the discussion that enthusists of RPG's have contributed. I always look forward to receiving insightful and thought-provoking email from my visitors. I receive no monetary compensation for bringing these sites online, and one thing that has impowered me to continue my tradition of creating great places for gamers has been the thousands of emails I have received from people all across the world who have cherished and partaken in my other websites. This site too shall come into the fold of my domain and I will pour my efforts into it's maintenance. I, Video Gamer X am just like you, and ordinary person, with an extraordinary hope that many others can share and learn about these great things that we have today.
This is my third Final Fantasy devoted site, and I am happy to say, I relish every opportunity I have to play this series of games and experience a storyline unparalleled through all the myriad examples of video games created to date. There is a feeling that is evoked whenever the Final Fantasy games are played. It's that sensation of adventure and magical experiences that people relate to and indulge in. Our connection to our past and our future is evoked within our living of the epic. Games like Final Fantasy will endure the test of time, and reverberate across history marking the point in time where mankind began his ascension toward far greater endeavors and the voice of dreamers whispering into the consciousness of history unveiled the new worlds that await to be discovered. We reside today at the threshold of a period in history when civilization will emerge from the womb of its birth to penetrate the boundaries of infinite beyond. There are places that our imaginations have seen, where Final Fantasy has taken us, distant shores that exist just outside of homes right above our heads waiting for the intrepid journeymen to set sail. No Fantasy is truly ever Final.
