LEGO WARS: CASTLE VS. CASTLE
Castle Wars is a sub game of The LEGO RPG. This basically puts two builder's castles against each other in head to head strategy combat and combines the combat types of Army Vs. Army and Castle Vs. Army.
THE RULES:
A Castle is equivalent to any structure that well, is supposed to be some kind of castle, duh. Not all builders are going to make the same castle, so Castles are given Classes like I guess Olympic Wrestlers and Boxers. The size of the castle determines factors like hit points.
STANDARDS AND CLASS:
One 10 Inch LEGO Base Plase is considered a unit of measurement and the standard for Castle Class. One Baseplate has a total Area of 32 x 32 Pegs.
Castles come in the following Classifications:
- 1/4 Baseplate
- 1/2 Baseplate
- 1 Base Plate
- 2 Base Plates
- 3 Base Plates
- 4 Base Plates
- 6 Base Plates
- 9 Base Plates
- 12 Base Plates
- Anything over 12, OMFG! Heh, Anything over 12 Base Plates if you can make something that huge wow!|
In order to qualify for the size class the outer wall must be on more than half of the plate.
Walls - A wall (or story) is always equivalent to 5 bricks in height. You can not play LEGO Castle Wars if you have a wall shorter than 5 bricks high (anything lower is considered a baracade).
One standard Wall on One Baseplate = 2500 Structure Pts (SP)
One Fortified Wall on One Baseplate = 5000 Structure Pts
One standard 4 wall enclosed castle on 1 baseplate = 5000 Structure Pts.
One Fortified 4 Wall enclosed castle on 1 baseplate = 10,000 Structure Pts.
One standard 3 Wall Castle on 1 Baseplate = 3750 Structure Points
One Fortified 4 Wall 3 story high castle on 2 Baseplates = 30000 Structure Points.
You are only credited for one wall per baseplate on Castles larger than 4 baseplates. A corner that takes up greater than the width of 16 pegs in both widths of a baseplate counts and 1 wall.
Fortification - Any Castle completely made of 2 peg x 4 peg x 1 high bricks is considered fortified and receives double the total Structure Points. A castle made of standard 1 peg width bricks stacked on top of each other to make it 2 pegs wide is also considered fortified. A Fortified "Patchwork Quilt" castle made of all different color LEGO's loses 50% of its structure points bonus. (LEGOs must be the same color to qualify for the full fortification status) If you have a fortifed castle with windows at the first story in the wall, that castle loses the fortification bonus. If all 4 of outer walls of the castle are made of fortified bricks 2 peg wide bricks, however there are rooms, structures, towers, etc, made of regular 1 peg width bricks on the interior, the castle is still considered fortified.
Bonuses - Enhancements to the castle like Parapets, towers, citadels, gatehouses, moats,
Moat (+10000 SP, DEF against Cavilry) - A moat is considered any width of 6 pegs or greater of blue LEGO's completely surrounding your castle. There may be a draw bridge over the moat, but the moat must completely surround the entire castle to qualify.
Towers (+5000 SP per Tower, +10% Bowman ATK per tower) - A Tower qualifies as any narrow enclosed elevated structure on the castle that, well, looks like a tower. To qualify the tower must be at least 1 + 3/5 walls (8 bricks) higher than the outer castle wall. A tower can have windows and still qualify for the bonus. Towers also qualify for Fortification if they are made of 2 peg wide bricks.
Citadel (+5000 SP per Citadel) - A Citadel qualifies as any wide enclosed elevated structure on the castle that is at least 1 wall or higher than the outer wall. Citadel also qualifies for Fortification if it is mad3e of 2 peg wide bricks.
