DRAKENOR CASTLE

With the sack of the mountain fortress at Nirian at the end of the 4th Dynasty by the aliance between the LionGuard and the Knights of the Pheonix, the Knights of the Dragon Flame retreated to their stronghold at Drakenor. The new king sent his messangers across the kingdom to find a new wizard to command the Dragons. Their previous sorcerer of dragons was defeated by the Pheonix Knights's arificer, who constructed a flying machine embued with the magic of concentrated elemental destruction. They called this monstrosity, "The Golden Pheonix."
Although the messanger never returned from his task, one rainy cold night a sorcerer dressed in a dark cloak followed by two veiled apprentices garbed in red approached the gates. He was willing to help the king and his army in defeating the pheonix knights, but with a price. The king and dark wizard formed an alliance, and the king commanded the construction of a dark wizard's spire atop the citadel dungeon. Soon there was a dark specter that appeared in the night's sky over the castle. It was a new dragon no one had ever seen before, it was like a shadow, and it breathed green fire. The dark Wizard summoned it from the depths of the underworld, and the dragon craved the blood of men.
After crossing the bridge, you come to the castle's large wooden gates towering 20 feet high. As one of the guards signals to let you in, the doors open, and you arrive in the courtyard. To your left you'll see the soldier barracks and various weapons and armor stacked on racks from battle axes, to spears, to swords. Across from the courtyard lies the Great Hall where the king's throne and court resides. Nobles from the various villages of the kingdom are enterained here and in the above dining hall. To the right is the lower dungeons and the citadel. Atop the Citadel is the black sorcerer's spire, ringed at the top with 4 stone beast heads with elemental eyes. Atop the Great Hall sits the overlook, and the dining hall. going up the spiral staircase leads to the Dragon Gates, where the charmed Dragons await their bidding from the sorcerer. Should the castle come under seige these dragons would be deployed immediately to assist the legion in defending it. Atop the Dragon Gates is the Royal mansion and the twin towers. From the balconies on the twin towers the king and his concubines can survey his entire kingdom. Castle Drakenor is the largest castle in the easter provinces.
Having lost her mother to a horrible disease during the reign of her father, and then the subsequent death of her father at the battle of Nirian, the princess, Dysephenir, can be seen gazing wistfully at the horizion from her perch atop the balcony. She doesn't talk much, and the concubines try to seduce her, but she just just remains stoic and melancholy. Her brother, previously the prince, and now king indulges in endless quaffs of meade from the flagons of the winery, and the company of those harlots in his bedchamber.
After moving out of my parents house, the village and castle of Nirian was dismantled and those LEGO's were transported to my new house. Once I got around to building again, I had a desire to build a grand castle like I had never constructed before. The one thing that I lacked with Niran was enough pieces to do everything I wanted to do. After awhile I managed to aquire the parts I needed to build Drakenor, and the castle took shape. Drakenor is probably constructed of around 10,000 LEGOs, maybe more. Technically the castle is not finished. My main goal is to finish the cobblestone look for the main courtyard, and finish the tiles for the Great Hall, then I'm pretty sure it's all done.
