ABOUT THIS SITE
This site is dedicated to the dreamer of dreams Candace Larren

I, Video Gamer X, the creator of this wonderful site was so astonished by the quality and experience of Final Fantasy VII that I wanted to share it with the whole world. It brought to fruition all the rudimentry notions of what a great RPG would be like. There are times when reality as we know it fails to evoke a sense of awe that a fantastic adventure does. In our everyday struggle to survive in a fast-paced world of appointments, due dates, bills, responsibilities, and personal relationships we lose that aspiration for adventure or our wonder about the unknown. As children we are free to venture into the reality of the imagination and traverse new worlds inhabited by made up beings, but as we grow and get caught up in the rapids of what society deems is the proper domain of existence those lands and entities drift into the mists of time. We fritter our short lives away on issues so petty in comparison to concepts as grand as the great macrocosm that exists above our heads, or the very innerspace that resides with our own mind. We confine ourselves to a system of living that closes the doorway to the awesome possibilities that exist. Movies are capable of portraying such events, but the audience is put in the position to accept it or reject it as being real, and the individual can not take part in any of the events that transpire on the screen. Video games like Final Fantasy VII allow players to transcend the boundaries of movies. The player can choose who he or she wants to talk to. The player can control what special effects happen when. The player can be the one seeks knowledge and traverses great distances. The player is the one who determines how the story turns out. Final Fantasy VII may mark the beginning of a renaissance for RPG's and a Guilded Age of interactive movie-games. With games like Final Fantasy VII, we can again be free to feed our imagination and reanimate our drive for adventure.
